This position, under the direction of the associate dean for student affairs and admissions, develops match reports detailing where BSOM seniors matched and match summaries used for Match Day ceremonies. The manager of medical student career services is responsible for collecting and statistically evaluating metrics that demonstrate success in the matching of applicants with residency positions.

In addition, the manager of medical student career services is responsible for maintaining the AAMC’s SRS and works closely with the department of medical education and the financial aid manager to update students’ status in SRS. This position, under the direction of the associate dean for clinical skills education and career development, provides individualized career advising for BSOM medical students from matriculation until graduation and assists senior students in assembling credentials for their residency application including CV development in the first year, writing Medical Student Performance Evaluation ( MSPE) noteworthy characteristics and personal statements, and provide oversight of the different matches, ERAS/ NRMP deadlines and completion of the ERAS application.
